Wardrop’s focus in environmental engineering is on enhancing the health of communities and ecosystems through innovative and sustainable solutions delivered on time and on budget.  Infrastructure’s assignments in environmental disciplines have ranged from feasibility and water resource studies to design and construction of water and waste systems.

Water & Wastewater Treatment

Our work has included wetlands design, environmental impacts, the development of outfalls, water treatment plants, pumping and lift stations, advanced wastewater treatment and wastewater treatment lagoons.  Wardrop has pioneered cost-effective wastewater management in projects throughout Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.

Water Resources

Providing safe drinking water and developing environmentally responsible ways to treat, manage and reclaim wastewaters enhances and sustains our natural environment while enriching human life in our communities.  With a qualified and continually growing water resources skill base, Wardrop can take projects from concept to design development and from construction to commissioning.

Remediation

As our world transitions to a new, environmentally responsible economy, helping our natural environment recover from misuse or neglect is essential. Wardrop’s team of specialists helps clients balance environmental, social and economic needs with a focus on sustainability.  From environmental impact assessments to soil remediation and brownfield site development, we seek sustainable solutions for the future and work to repair the environmental damage of the past.
