Wardrop is the proud recipient of a 2002 Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) Outstanding Business Achievement Award. "Without doubt, this year the number and quality of nominations is exceptional," said Ronald McNeill, Chair and C.E.O. of the OCC. Of the thousands of companies in Ontario, 60 were nominated and five were selected.

The presentations were made recently at a gala event in Toronto hosted by the OCC and attended by over 800 business executives. The event also celebrated the 20th anniversary of the awards, which were established as a way of publicly recognizing Ontario companies that have exemplified excellence.

"It is so very rewarding to have Wardrop recognized as a great and truly unique company by Ontario’s business leaders, and I thank you," said Ernie Card, Wardrop’s President and C.E.O., in accepting the award. Mr. Card acknowledged the hard work and dedication of Wardrop’s staff and thanked the company’s key clients who had joined his group for the evening’s presentations. He also noted the very significant contributions they had made to Wardrop’s ability to be considered for such an important honour.

We congratulate all current and past OCC award recipients. Wardrop is most privileged to be included with these exceptional companies. Past winners include such companies as Ford Motor Company of Canada, Ltd., Magna International Inc., Research in Motion Ltd., 3M, PCL Constructors Eastern Inc., and Corel Corporation.
