November 12, 2009, Santiago, Chile – Today, Ron Hall, Vice-President International of Mining for Wardrop, A Tetra Tech Company, and Sra. Leticia Conca Benito, General Manager of Alquimia Conceptos S.A., signed a three-year strategic alliance between the two firms. The event follows Wardrop’s decision to establish a presence in Chile to better serve its clients and Alquimia Conceptos’ decision to align with its clients’ global growth. Wardrop Acquires ACI Engineering of Vancouver Imprimir Correo electrónico

VANCOVER, British Columbia – Wardrop, A Tetra Tech Company (Wardrop) announced today that it has acquired ACI Engineering (ACI) of Vancouver, a firm of 14 employees specializing in electrical engineering and project management with a specific emphasis on electrical power systems. This acquisition expands Wardrop’s integrated service capabilities with immediate benefits to both Wardrop Mining and Energy Divisions. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Debbie Hendsbee named to PDAC board Imprimir Correo electrónico

April 1, 2009 - Debbie Hendsbee, Wardrop’s Business Development Manager of the Resource Management Division, was elected to serve on the board of directors of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC).

“PDAC’s objectives and dedication to strong ethics parallel those of Wardrop and will be strengthened by the dedication to excellence that Debbie will bring to her new role as a member of the PDAC board,” says senior vice-president Brent Thompson.

Tetra Tech Expands into Canada Through Wardrop Acquisition Imprimir Correo electrónico

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTEK) announced today that it has acquired Wardrop Engineering, Inc. (Wardrop), a Canadian firm that specializes in resource management, energy, and infrastructure design. Wardrop has about 1,200 employees globally and had revenue of approximately U.S. $120 million in fiscal 2008. The acquisition expands Tetra Tech’s worldwide presence, adding 13 offices in Canada and offices in the United Kingdom and India. Wardrop will join Tetra Tech’s Environmental Consulting Services segment. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
